Edward Randall Medical Consultants is a locally owned medical consulting firm serving Northeast Florida, specializing in coordinated care that supports timely, cost-effective return-to-work outcomes. With over 60 years of combined case management experience, we partner with insurance carriers, employers, self-insured entities, and medical providers to manage Florida Workers’ Compensation and Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Act claims with precision and objectivity. Our focus is ensuring injured workers receive appropriate medical care while reducing delays, miscommunication, and unnecessary claim costs. In addition to medical consulting, we offer personalized mental health counseling for private insurance and self-pay patients. Our licensed mental health counselor provides individualized, goal-oriented care across multiple platforms to support meaningful, lasting improvement in quality of life. Melanie Haley, RN, CRRN

With over 30 years of nursing experience and two decades in workers’ compensation case management, Melanie offers deep clinical expertise in coordinating care for injured workers. A Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) with a multistate license, she brings specialized skills in disability management, occupational health, and return-to-work planning. Known for effectively navigating complex cases, Melanie works closely with employers, providers, and insurers to achieve timely, cost-effective outcomes.

Linda Spade, RN, CRRN

With over 35 years of nursing experience and more than 25 years in workers’ compensation case management and leadership, Linda brings specialized expertise in coordinating care for injured workers. Her diverse background spans medical case management, occupational and mental health, medical/surgical care, and home care. A Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) with board certification in case management and a multistate license, Linda excels in handling complex cases, including workers’ comp, liability, and Longshore claims. She applies advanced skills in disability management and return-to-work planning while working closely with all stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective outcomes. Her dedication to high standards, clear communication, and client-focused care has made her a respected leader in the field.

Edward C. Spade, LCSW

Edward C. Spade is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and older adults as they navigate life’s challenges. His therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and mindfulness-based practices, with a strong emphasis on the brain–body connection to promote meaningful and lasting change. He provides a supportive, honest, and collaborative environment where clients are encouraged to engage in self-exploration, develop new skills, and work toward personal growth. Edward is particularly experienced in helping older adults adjust to retirement, adults balancing caregiving and family responsibilities, and young adults and teens facing developmental, academic, and peer-related stress.
